toolbox: A New Approach to Music Integration
toolbox aims to foster experiences that encourage integrating records into everyday living. With the tagline
“A toolbox for editing your own space,” the online shop provides various parts and ideas to enhance living spaces, all while focusing on the delightful practice of cohabiting with records. Instead of solely listening, this event will explore the joys of decorating and collecting records, inspiring attendees to pay attention to their living spaces through the lens of vinyl records.
While toolbox typically does not sell record racks, the event will present unique ideas and items designed for displaying and storing records. Attendees can look forward to a custom-designed table leg that transforms into a record rack and various parts for wall-mounting records.
Exclusive Offers and Merchandise
In addition to artworks and curated selections by influential people associated with Kakubarhythm, such as renowned DJ
Moodman, writer
Ryohei Matsunaga, and stylist
Daisuke Iga, the event will feature unique limited goods and even a speaker-equipped record player from
Gadhouse, suitable for beginners. Attendees will also find collaborative merchandise created through the partnership of Test and Tiny and toolbox, including T-shirts featuring original characters and tote bags designed to fit records.
Workshops and Talk Shows
Throughout the event, guests will participate in
record rack-building workshops scheduled for
September 6 and 13, 2025, where they can craft a personalized record rack using leftover materials and samples provided by toolbox. With a limit of six participants per session and a cost of
