Digital Dynamic Selected as Negotiation Partner for Iriki Industrial Park
Digital Dynamic Inc. (Headquartered in Minato, Tokyo), under the leadership of President Minoru Negoro, has been officially selected as the negotiation partner for the sale of the Iriki Industrial Park in Satsumasendai, Kagoshima Prefecture, effective November 25, 2025. This selection was made public after the city conducted an open call for proposals.
Key Highlights of the Announcement
1.
Selection by Satsumasendai City: Digital Dynamic's proposal was recognized, granting them negotiation rights for the 4 blocks within the Iriki Industrial Park, amounting to approximately 35,000 square meters.
2.
Compliance with GB300 NVL72 Standards: The company is set to develop a cutting-edge data center designed to operate with ultra-high-density GPU configurations in accordance with the next-generation rack scale design, the GB300 NVL72 standard.
3.
Decentralization and Resilience: This initiative aims to mitigate the risks associated with over-concentration in the Tokyo metropolitan area, establishing a crucial hub for AI computing resources in the Kyushu region.
Overview of the Land Acquisition and Planned Development
The site chosen for development consists of blocks 2, 7, 8, and 9 of the Iriki Industrial Park, covering a total area of about 35,000 square meters. Digital Dynamic plans to construct a next-generation data center that can densely implement GPU servers necessary for the development and operation of generative AI.
Developing Infrastructure to Meet Next-Generation Operating Standards
One of the most significant features of this project is its design philosophy, which responds to the rapid evolution of AI semiconductors. Notably, with the increased heat output of advanced systems, the data center will incorporate high-efficiency liquid cooling in addition to traditional air cooling methods to accommodate the wide range of equipment expected in the future.
Through stable and low-energy operation of state-of-the-art AI computational resources, Digital Dynamic aims to provide domestic AI developers access to a world-class computational environment.
Project Plan Summary
- - Construction Location: Iriki Industrial Park, Satsumasendai, Kagoshima Prefecture
- - Site Area: Approximately 35,000 square meters (planned)
- - Receiving Capacity: Planned to support a maximum of 19MW
- - Equipment Design: Cooling systems, environmental designs, and rack designs compliant with the latest GPU operation standards, including GB300 NVL72.
Future Outlook
Digital Dynamic will engage in detailed discussions with Satsumasendai City to expedite construction and operational startup.
