To address this need, Creek and River Company (C&R) is offering a series of free online seminars titled "Chris's Lunchtime English Conversation – Introductory Listening and Comprehension" starting August 4th. Designed specifically for professionals in the creative fields, these sessions aim to provide a convenient way to enhance listening skills during the lunch break.

The sessions will be led by Chris Larimore, who has lived in Japan for nearly 30 years and currently manages the language services at C&R. The format is simple and engaging: attendees can join in while enjoying their lunch! Each Tuesday, at 12:15 PM, the seminar will feature a historical event or notable day, explained in English using accessible vocabulary. Following that, from 12:45 PM, participants will tackle quizzes related to the texts discussed two weeks prior.
