Lumosenergy's Global Launch: A New Era in EV Charging

On July 13, 2026, Lumosenergy, a leader in electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions, celebrated its global brand launch event titled "Power in a New Light" at The Westin Grand Munich. This highly anticipated gathering coincided with Power2Drive Europe 2026, an event focused on electric mobility and sustainable energy solutions. The launch event attracted a diverse audience, including fleet managers, procurement leaders, technology suppliers, and media representatives from Europe’s electric mobility sector. This occasion marked Lumosenergy's transition from its former identity as Gresgying to a global leader in clean energy solutions on an international platform.

Bill Li, the founder and CEO of Lumosenergy, was at the forefront of the event, accompanied by the company's European leadership team. He articulated the company’s global vision and European strategy, sharing insights into next-generation charging and energy solutions. Founded in China, Lumosenergy has emerged as one of the top three providers of EV charging equipment, delivering over 170,000 DC chargers and operating in more than 50 countries. With a revenue exceeding USD 250 million and a valuation of approximately USD 1 billion by 2025, the company boasts a dedicated workforce of over 1,300 employees.

One of the event’s highlights was the introduction of the recently completed Mega Factory in Xi'an, an advanced zero-carbon facility spanning 220,000 square meters. This factory has an impressive annual production capacity of 200,000 DC chargers, 500,000 AC chargers, and 2.4 GWh of battery storage systems, significantly boosting Lumosenergy’s global supply chain capabilities and ensuring reliable, large-scale deliveries to international customers.

During the launch, Lumosenergy showcased its extensive product portfolio tailored for the European market. This includes CE-certified AC chargers, all-in-one DC chargers, decentralized charging systems with capacities up to 1.44 MW, dynamic load management solutions, and energy solutions integrated with battery systems. The event also highlighted Lumosenergy's ambitious innovation roadmap, featuring technologies for megawatt charging, V2V mobile DC charging, robotic charging arms, and autonomous mobile DC chargers. The company's product philosophy emphasizes quality and compliance first, followed by innovation, underscoring their commitment to fostering energy solutions that are both effective and sustainable.

Lumosenergy's intent for local establishment in Europe was evident throughout the evening, ranging from initial client visits to technical workshops. With a committed international team of over 70 members and a operational office in Düsseldorf, the company is enhancing local support services, spare parts availability, and regional partnerships to optimize customer service across Europe.

The event was graced by Fang Guo, the counselor at the Chinese consulate in Munich. Partnerships were also a focal point, with Lumosenergy signing a strategic cooperation agreement with Phoenix Contact E-Mobility, reinforcing its dedication to building a robust local partnership ecosystem in Europe.

In summary, Lumosenergy's launch reaffirms its global strategy that prioritizes quality, compliance, innovation, sustainability, and open collaboration. It demonstrates the company's ambition to contribute to a smarter, cleaner, and more interconnected energy future.
