Celebrating 25 Years of Duel Masters

The popular trading card game (TCG) Duel Masters, with over 8.2 billion copies shipped since its debut, is commemorating its 25th anniversary with an exciting lineup of products and events. 2026 and 2027 mark the anniversary years filled with nostalgic releases and community gatherings.

Anniversary Products

As part of the anniversary celebration, two special products will be released:

1. DM26-SD1 Exciting Strong Deck: The 25 Pathways
- Release Date: April 4, 2026
- Price: 1,100 JPY (tax included)
- Description: A pre-constructed deck featuring powerful strategies utilized by historical protagonists in the game. The deck includes 25 different winning strategies, with one randomly included in each package. Additionally, the regular cards come with new illustrations that connect to form a larger artwork when combined.

2. DM26-RP1 Reverse Card Series: Volume 1 - Reverse God vs. Cutting Dragon
- Release Date: April 11, 2026
- Price: 200 JPY per pack (6,000 JPY per box)
- Description: This pack offers five cards per set, with the possibility of rare, special edition cards included as well. Each one of the 25 unique Secret Dream Rares has its own serial number, making it exceptionally collectible.

These products will be available at toy specialty shops, department stores, mass retailers, online stores, and Takara Tomy's official shopping site.

Event Tour

In June 2026, a nationwide anniversary tour called the "Duel Masters 25th Anniversary Tour" will kick off, starting in Kobe and then traveling to four other cities. Attendees can expect special stages, live performances, and displays that reflect the rich history of Duel Masters, along with exclusive items for sale and interactive play areas.

Fuku Suzuki, an actor and longtime fan of Duel Masters since childhood, stars in a new television commercial promoting the Exciting Strong Deck. The commercial creatively juxtaposes Suzuki's current self with his 10-year-old self, reminiscing about the joy and excitement of playing Duel Masters, capturing the essence of the game that has engaged players for 25 years.

Collaboration Event at National Museum of Nature and Science

Additionally, from March 14 to June 14, 2026, there will be a special collaboration with the National Museum of Nature and Science in Tokyo. This event features exclusive promotional cards and themed card sleeves for sale, allowing fans to pick up unique items while exploring the exhibits.
