Experience Tokyo's Unique Room with Yurikamome Train's Cockpit Until May 2026

Celebrate 30 Years of Yurikamome with a Unique Accommodation Experience

The Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel, located in Koto City, Tokyo, has announced an extension of their highly successful collaboration room featuring a real train cockpit from the Yurikamome line. Originally created to celebrate Yurikamome's 30th anniversary, this special accommodation experience has garnered significant attention, prompting the hotel to extend the availability until May 5, 2026.

A One-of-a-Kind Experience

This special room, known as the "Yurikamome 30th Anniversary Collaboration Room," features the actual cockpit and driver's seat from a retired Yurikamome train. Guests are invited to experience a unique opportunity, embodying a dream of "seeing, touching, and staying" in a train cockpit. The room has been particularly popular among railway enthusiasts and families, often reaching full capacity, especially during weekends and holiday seasons.

One of the captivating features of this collaboration room is its display of the cockpit, which is typically covered and inaccessible due to the train's automated operation. Visitors can enjoy the rare chance to sit in the driver's seat, fulfilling the dreams of both adults and children alike who have always wanted to experience being a train operator.

Additionally, a newly installed monitor in front of the cockpit allows guests to view the film 'Yurikamome Day & Night,' creating an immersive atmosphere as if they were actually riding the train. The furnishings include transportation maps and original merchandise, all tailored to enhance the unique railway-themed experience.

Commitment to Sustainability and Community

The collaboration not only aims to provide an unforgettable experience but also aligns with the principles of SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), fostering relationships with local companies like Yurikamome Co., Ltd., and promoting local tourism. The hotel is committed to sustainability, featuring recycled materials throughout the room. Included in the stay are original pouches made from recycled fibers, with two pouches per room as gifts.

As part of its philosophy towards developing local tourism and a sustainable future, the Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel continues to evolve its offerings.

Convenient Location

Conveniently located just a three-minute walk from three stations: Yurikamome's Ariake Station and Tokyo Big Sight Station, as well as Rinkai Line's Kokusai Tenjijo Station, the hotel provides easy access. Additionally, direct limousine buses run from both Haneda and Narita Airports, making this an excellent option for both business and tourism.

The hotel currently features 830 comfortable guest rooms, with renovations being carried out gradually, set to be completed by September 2026.
