In a recent survey conducted in April 2025 by Nexion Travel Group, over 400 travel advisors from across the United States and Canada expressed an unwavering optimism in the face of global uncertainties impacting the travel industry. The survey revealed that demand for travel is remarkably high, and there are no significant signs of a slowdown in bookings, despite various factors that typically influence travel plans.

The survey, involving 444 Nexion Travel Group members, showcased that a majority of travel advisors reported stability in bookings, with a notable absence of cancellations. Even though economic and geopolitical factors were cited by clients as reasons for altering their travel plans—36% due to economic uncertainty, 29% because of geopolitical issues, and 27% due to changes in discretionary spending—these concerns have not dampened the overall enthusiasm for travel.

Interestingly, when queried about their clientele, travel advisors indicated that nearly half of their clients fall within the 46 to 60 age bracket, while 30% are aged 61 or older.
