The 7th Annual 'My Library (Books)' Senryu Contest is set to take place from July 22 to September 7, 2025. This exciting event invites participants to express their thoughts and experiences related to books and libraries through the traditional Japanese poetry form of senryu. Whether it’s the joy of reading, the convenience of accessing books, or cherished memories associated with libraries, we encourage everyone to share their unique sentiments.
Contest Details
In this contest, individuals are invited to submit their senryu, with each entrant allowed to submit up to three pieces. Prizes will be awarded to the top submissions:
- - Grand Prize: 1 winner will receive a 30,000 yen bookstore gift card.
- - Excellence Awards: 2 winners will each receive a 10,000 yen bookstore gift card.
- - Participation Awards: 10 winners will each receive a 3,000 yen bookstore gift card.
