Photon Math Online Classroom Launches Door Ads on JR East Lines

Photon Math Online Classroom's New Advertising Initiative

The Photon Math Online Classroom, operated by Photon Math Club Co., Ltd., will commence door advertisements on JR East lines in the greater Tokyo area starting December 1, 2025. This initiative aims to raise awareness about the significance of math in junior high school entrance exams while fostering logical thinking skills that extend beyond exams and into high school mathematics.

Since its establishment in 2007, Photon Math Club has been recognized as a premier math tutoring institution for students aspiring to attend Japan’s most challenging junior high schools. Over the years, it has proven itself, with 83% of its students advancing to schools defined as 'Gosanke' or 'Waseda and Keio level'. The shift to online classes is a response to the growing demand from families facing constraints—whether due to entrance tests or geographic location—who wish to engage in high-quality math education.

A New Era of Online Learning

The shift to the online platform allows students across Japan to participate without the need for entrance tests, enabling access to the same rigorous curriculum as the traditional classroom. Remarkably, 64% of enrolled students in the online program successfully progressed to significant junior high schools.

The effectiveness of the Photon Method in an online format has been successfully validated. The classroom’s curriculum, renowned for its quality, emphasizes areas critical for admission to highly selective schools, thus assisting in not just passing exams but also building a strong mathematical foundation for future academic pursuits.

New Advancement Course for Non-Examinees

In a significant development, the Photon Math Online Classroom has introduced a new 'Advancement Course' tailored for students who do not plan to sit for entrance exams. This course is designed to provide essential knowledge without focusing on entrance exam-specific units, allowing for a comprehensive learning experience that better prepares students for high school and beyond. By excluding units not applicable post-junior high, students can delve deeply into essential mathematical concepts that build a solid groundwork for further studies.

Enrollment Details

Enrollment for the 2026 academic year begins on October 1, 2025, and continues until March 31, 2026. Families are encouraged to explore the rich educational opportunities offered by the Photon Math Online Classroom.

Advertising Campaign

To enhance visibility, three types of door posters will be displayed, with six posters on each train car. This advertising campaign aims to articulate the benefits of Photon Math Online Classroom to a broader audience, emphasizing quality math education for all children, regardless of their entrance exam plans.

The Door Panels Include:

1. General Awareness: "Did you know 80% of students from Photon Math Club advance to 'Gosanke' or 'Waseda and Keio level schools'? Our much-awaited online program has arrived!"
2. Online Exam Preparations: "With no entrance tests and an astonishing progress rate of 64% to 'Gosanke' or 'Waseda and Keio level schools', join our online classes today!"
3. Advancement Course: "Experience high-quality, advanced math lessons that go beyond simple calculation or school tutoring at Photon Math Online!"

The door ads will be displayed from December 1 to December 7, 2025, along major JR East lines in the Tokyo area.
For any queries regarding advertisements in trains, please refrain from contacting the railway or station staff.
