As part of the program, participants will engage in a special workshop led by current students and graduates from Stanford University, renowned as the 'Harvard of the West.' This workshop will focus on the concept of design thinking, which is widely adopted by successful companies in Silicon Valley. Participants will learn to approach challenges with a design-oriented mindset, effectively generating new values.

2. Meet and Connect with Top University Students
During the visit to Stanford University, students will have the chance to interact with local students during campus tours and lunches. Furthermore, participants will also visit the University of California, Berkeley, a leading public university in the U.S., where they will learn about the institution's history and traditions while engaging with its distinguished students.

3. Explore Major IT Companies
The program includes visits to the Apple Park visitor center and the Google Visitor Center, where participants will experience the cutting-edge technology and culture driving the world's foremost IT corporations. Attendees will also engage in a cultural exchange with local students, enhancing their understanding of the English language and diverse cultures (note: entrance to Apple and Google offices is restricted).

Support Throughout the Experience

Participants will be accompanied by a program leader from departure to return, ensuring that students receive continuous support during their stay. Parents will receive daily updates via email regarding activities, and any urgent communications from home will be addressed promptly.

Note: The travel cost does not include domestic airport facilities usage fees, overseas airport taxes, fuel surcharges, international tourism passenger tax, ESTA application fees, and overseas travel insurance fees. An ESTA application is required.

Daily Schedule

Day 1: January 2 (Fri)

- 14:00: Gather at Narita Airport
- 17:00: Depart from Narita Airport
- Arrive at San Francisco Airport
- Guided tour of San Francisco, including stops at landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge
- Lunch at Fisherman’s Wharf
- Interview challenge with local residents on U.S.-Japan themes
- Evening kickoff meeting, dinner at hotel

Day 2: January 3 (Sat)

- Full-day Silicon Valley Tour
- Campus visit at Stanford University with current students/graduates as guides
- Lunch with Stanford students
- Visit Apple Park Visitor Center
- Evening at hotel

Day 3: January 4 (Sun)

- Full-day workshop on Design Thinking led by D-School students at Stanford University
- Participants will learn innovative approaches to problem-solving using design thinking methodologies
- Evening at hotel

Day 4: January 5 (Mon)

- Morning: Check out from hotel
- Visit Google Headquarters and the Google Visitor Experience
- Participate in a cultural exchange with local students
- Tour of UC Berkeley campus with current students
- Evening check-in at airport hotel

Day 5: January 6 (Tue)

- Morning: Check out and transfer to airport
- Depart from San Francisco Airport
