ALBANY, CALIFORNIA, OCTOBER 9, 2025 - Starter Bakery is stirring excitement in Albany with the opening of its new café on October 25, located at 1183 Solano Avenue. Known for its exceptional pastries and breads, Starter Bakery has crafted a unique experience for pastry enthusiasts in a relaxed neighborhood atmosphere.

The café is set to feature a complete menu that celebrates delightful baked goods and savory options. Customers can look forward to enjoying classics such as the famed kouign amann, pies, cakes, and hearth breads, alongside new delectable offerings, including sugar-dusted beignets filled with cream, chocolate, or fruit. This exclusive item will be available only at the Albany location, making it a destination in its own right.

Founder and Master Baker Brian Wood expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "Opening on Solano Avenue allows us to share our passion for baking with even more of our neighbors. The design of the café, conceived by Caha Design, promotes a warm and inviting environment. With indoor seating for 22 guests and outdoor patio seating for up to 25, it's a perfect spot for friends and families to gather. The café will operate from Wednesday to Sunday, between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., accommodating both breakfast and lunch patrons.
