Novotel's Longevity Week Encourages Small Steps for Wellness Revolution

Embracing Wellness One Habit at a Time

As the world collectively grapples with the complexities of modern life, Novotel is leading a revolutionary initiative aimed directly at our well-being. With the commencement of the inaugural Longevity Week from September 7 to September 13, 2026, Novotel is inviting individuals around the globe to rethink the essence of their daily habits. What if a healthier, more vibrant life didn’t necessitate a complete overhaul of one’s existing lifestyle? This potent question lies at the heart of Novotel’s campaign, encouraging small but impactful changes instead.

Longevity Week aligns perfectly with Novotel's Longevity Everyday vision, emphasizing that tiny, consistent improvements can lead to transformative outcomes. According to their global consumer survey involving over 13,000 participants across various countries, 71% of respondents expressed increased concern regarding their long-term health compared to five years ago. The findings indicate a shifting paradigm — one where lifestyle choices such as balanced nutrition, quality sleep, and regular exercise dominate discussions surrounding well-being.

Nonetheless, the survey highlighted a dissonance between knowledge and practice. 76% of participants admitted they wished to lead healthier lifestyles, with significant numbers wanting to enhance their sleep (45%) and exercise routines (47%). The surge of wellness content on social media often adds to the confusion, with 67% of respondents feeling overwhelmed by the plethora of health advice available. In this sea of information, nearly 37% said they had followed a trend only to discover it lacked scientific backing.

To cultivate clarity amid chaos, Novotel has established the 37 Collective, a group of carefully selected experts whose knowledge will guide participants through Longevity Week. Among the collective are renowned figures who embody the initiative’s four pillars: Eat, Sleep, Move, and Meet.

Notable representatives include Olympic gold medallist Kauli Vaast, who advocates for the 'Move' pillar through consistent movement; Alfie Steiner, a culinary expert promoting plant-forward eating; Olivia Arezzolo, a recognized sleep authority; and former football star Javier Pastore, who shares insights on the importance of human connection. Kaushiik Subramaniam, an ocean photographer and conservationist, highlights the environmental aspects, tying the campaign to global preservation efforts.

The interactions will extend beyond digital platforms, with daily round-the-clock masterclasses designed to engage participants both in hotel locations and remotely. Each day will focus on one of the four health pillars, with activities including:
1. Monday, September 7th: A compelling talk by Alfie Steiner and Kaushiik Subramaniam on the health benefits of marine ingredients.
2. Tuesday, September 8th: A movement masterclass led by Kauli Vaast that introduces a simple morning warm-up routine.
3. Wednesday, September 9th: A live cooking class featuring plant-based recipes by Alfie Steiner.
4. Thursday, September 10th: A session on breathwork and sleep optimization hosted by Olivia Arezzolo.
5. Friday, September 11th: Insights from Javier Pastore focusing on connection and balance in daily life.

Across Novotel’s over 630 hotels worldwide, Longevity Week will create an atmosphere that fosters interaction through in-stay experiences, family activities, and integrated QR-enabled wellness content. Guests will also have the opportunity to engage with Oh My Greens!, Novotel's plant-forward dining program known for rewarding healthy choices.

The overarching goal of this week is clear: to make wellness accessible and manageable. With the knowledge that 50% of today's children could potentially live to 100, Novotel takes an approach emphasizing not merely longevity in terms of years lived, but rather the quality of those years. What Longevity Week advocates is the importance of progress over perfection: embarking on this wellness journey with small, attainable steps.

Jean-Yves Minet, Global Brand President of Novotel, encapsulated the spirit of Longevity Week perfectly when he stated, "This is our invitation to the world to start now. As small actions compound over time, our hope is to inspire a shift in how individuals view health."

In this age where misinformation often outpaces accurate health advice, Novotel provides a beacon of hope, guiding people toward a balanced and healthier lifestyle all while enjoying memorable experiences. Whether from the comfort of home or within the welcoming embrace of a Novotel hotel, active participation in Longevity Week is a step toward a more fulfilling life borne out of simplicity and consistency. Follow the journey live through Novotel’s social media platforms and website as they inspire collective health changes across the globe.
