Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC), one of North America's leading railways, announced a significant achievement in its operations. In April 2026, CPKC set a new record for the transportation of Canadian grain, successfully moving 2.9 million metric tonnes (MMT) of grain products. CPKC's year-to-date performance signifies a robust grain transport cycle, with over 21.9 MMT of grain moved through the first 38 weeks of the 2025-2026 crop year. These figures are the highest recorded since the record-setting 2020-2021 crop year.
