This partnership aims to provide vital backup power generation support for the newly established PGA TOUR Studios. This state-of-the-art facility is set to revolutionize the landscape of golf content production.

The PGA TOUR Studios, covering an impressive 165,000 square feet, centralizes various PGA TOUR Media operations, which include live productions for prestigious tours like PGA TOUR LIVE, PGA TOUR Champions, and Korn Ferry Tour. This facility is designed with cutting-edge capabilities that incorporate eight dedicated production rooms as well as eight audio control rooms. Additionally, it features seven advanced LED-equipped studios, capable of handling thousands of video and audio feeds, and can support as many as 144 cameras or live feeds at once.

The collaboration guarantees the uninterrupted operation of the PGA TOUR Studios, thanks to the enhancements brought about by PowerSecure. The facility is outfitted with three PowerSecure PowerBlocks, which are modular and scalable power generation units that deliver a total backup capacity of 3750 kilowatts. There is also the option to incorporate two additional generators, which greatly enhances energy reliability. Additionally, the Tier 4 Final engines employed in these units produce both reliable and efficient power, with compatibility for diesel and hydrotreated vegetable oil, marking a significant step towards sustainable energy usage.

To further ensure resilience against any potential outages, the PowerSecure PowerControl Operations Center will monitor the facility around the clock. This includes sending real-time alerts and tracking system performance continuously to mitigate the risks posed by even minor outages. A notable feature is the implementation of a Storm Mode, which allows the facility to transition to generator power preemptively during adverse weather conditions before any grid complications arise. This proactive strategy minimizes downtime and ensures critical activities proceed smoothly.
