Voice Planet Workshop to be Held in Fukuoka
Voice Planet, an initiative by Apra Inc. based in Shibuya, Tokyo, is thrilled to announce an exclusive workshop for participants, featuring esteemed anime director Katsuyoshi Yatabe as the instructor. This exciting event builds upon the success of last year's workshop, which gained immense popularity, prompting another session this year.
About the Workshop
The workshop will be taking place in Fukuoka and will emphasize face-to-face dubbing lessons which are key to developing voice acting skills. Participants can look forward to learning not just about dubbing techniques but also gaining insights into the voice acting industry through discussions around the responsibilities and experiences encountered in actual studios.
Workshop Structure
Due to the favorable response from the previous year, this year's workshop features three distinct sessions tailored to the varying experiences of participants. There will be a session for beginners and sessions for those with prior experience, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their background, can feel at ease while engaging in this unique learning experience.

About Katsuyoshi Yatabe
Katsuyoshi Yatabe began his career as a production assistant on the iconic series 'Yatterman' and has since been involved in directing renowned titles including 'Detective Conan' and 'Rurouni Kenshin.' As a director, he contributed his creative vision to many notable projects such as 'Brave Exkaiser,' 'Grappler Baki,' 'Hello An,' and 'Dinosaur King.' He has a vast array of experience across films, video games, novels, and theatrical productions, with a strong focus on children's anime that exude a warm, family-friendly approach.
Since 1995, Yatabe has been a respected mentor at several voice acting schools, dedicated to nurturing the next generation of voice actors. Currently, he serves as a professor of animation production at Osaka University of Arts.
