Meijer Issues Voluntary Recall for Children's Sleepwear Due to Safety Concerns

Meijer's Voluntary Recall of Children's Sleepwear

In an important safety precaution, Meijer has officially announced a voluntary recall of various children's sleepwear products from the Lullaby Lane and Meijer Corporate Seasonal (MCS) lines. This decision stems from findings that certain items did not undergo the required flammability testing, thereby failing to meet necessary safety standards for their size. Notably, this recall is proactive and follows that there have been no reported injuries linked to these products.

What Products Are Affected?

The recall specifically targets footed pajamas with zippers designed for children, available in various colors and sizes of 12, 18, and 24 months. These products were sold at Meijer locations between December 28, 2024, and October 15, 2025. Importantly, pajamas for infants aged 0-9 months were tested according to existing standards and are therefore unaffected by this recall.

Consumers can easily confirm whether their pajamas are included in this recall by comparing the SKU information available on the Meijer website against the details listed on their garments. Each product has a Universal Product Code (UPC), style number, and production date stitched onto a tag located at the side seam. Additionally, brand and size information can be found printed inside the garment by the neck area for Lullaby Lane products, while MCS items display the seasonal image and size in the same location.

Consumer Advisory

Meijer is urging customers who purchased any of the recalled sleepwear items to cease using them immediately. To ensure customer satisfaction and safety, the company is offering a full refund of the original purchase price, which can be processed at the customer service desk of any local Meijer store. Customers with inquiries regarding this recall can reach out to Meijer directly at 877-363-4537, available daily from 7 AM to 10 PM (Eastern Time).
