Prince Ice World 2025-2026 Tokyo Performance to Energize Seibu Line with Figure Skating

Energizing Seibu Line with Figure Skating: Prince Ice World 2025-2026

As excitement builds for the upcoming 'Prince Ice World 2025-2026 Tokyo Performance', a collaborative initiative between Seibu Railway Co., Ltd. and Seibu Media Communications Inc. aims to infuse the Seibu Line with the spirit of figure skating. Scheduled to take place from January 9 to 12, 2026, at the Daito Drinco Ice Arena, this performance promises to blend classic Broadway melodies with stunning ice choreography, a hallmark of Prince Ice World (PIW).

Station-based Promotion: “Promoting Prince Ice World at the Stations"

From November 20, 2025, until January 12, 2026, the 'Promoting Prince Ice World at the Stations' project is set to activate the enthusiasm for figure skating along the Seibu Line. In this initiative, each of the 26 designated stations will feature a selected member from the 22-member PIW team based on station themes and characteristics. This personalized approach aims to cultivate a deeper connection between the team members and their respective stations.

In addition to the promotions, life-sized cardboard cutouts of team members will be displayed at various stations, with Ikebukuro Station and Higashi-Fushimi Station being notable locations where fans can meet their favorite skaters.

Testimonial from Team Members

Koichi Kobayashi, the male line captain, expressed his gratitude for being selected as the representative for Ikebukuro Station for the third consecutive year. He shared, “It feels like a dream to be chosen again! This year’s show will be the most impressive yet, mixing the best from the previous seasons. I guarantee attendees will be hooked!”

Similarly, Yukie Matsunaga, the female line captain, emphasized the uniqueness of each station’s representation. Matsunaga invites audiences to explore the diverse charms of the cast by visiting different stations along the line during the promotion. “We can’t wait to showcase the essence of PIW in our upcoming shows,” she added.

Special Train Services for the Event

To ensure attendees can easily access the performances, select limited express trains will make temporary stops at Higashi-Fushimi Station during the event. The operational dates are set from January 9 to January 12, 2026, aligning with the showtimes for both matinee and evening performances.

Community Engagement

The initiative is not limited to station promotions; there are also community events planned to engage local residents and fans. Upcoming events include:
1. PIW Exhibition & Skating Class in Higashi-Fushimi – November 22, 2025. This session will cater mainly to elementary and junior high school students, offering a chance to learn from PIW members.
2. Adult Skaters Workshop – November 29, 2025, featuring lessons led by PIW members, focusing on techniques and warm-up exercises.

Involving both children and adults, these events aim to create a shared passion for figure skating within the community, with applications opening shortly.
