Accutron Unveils Fall/Winter 2026 Collection, Revolutionizing Watchmaking Again

Accutron's New Era in Horological Innovation

Accutron, a pioneer in the watchmaking industry, has once again stepped into the spotlight with the launch of its Fall/Winter 2026 collection. The company, which first changed the face of timekeeping in 1960 with its groundbreaking tuning fork movement, has introduced an impressive array of new timepieces that reflect both its storied past and its forward-thinking innovations.

A Look at the Collection

This new collection marks a significant milestone for Accutron as it offers four unique proprietary movements, each designed to cater to a diverse audience of watch enthusiasts, ranging from seasoned collectors to newcomers who are just starting their journey into luxury timepieces. The brand's expansion into new movements, including the master complication and resonator, showcases its commitment to evolving and adapting within the competitive landscape of horology.

During the unveiling event held in New York City, Jeffrey Cohen, President of Citizen Watch America, stated, "We're expanding the ways consumers can experience Accutron through a broader range of technologies, designs and price points." This sentiment encapsulates the essence of the collection, emphasizing the balance between accessibility and luxury.

Introducing Innovative Movements

The most prestigious piece from the new collection is the Accutron Horizon, which represents the pinnacle of Accutron's engineering excellence. This exquisite timepiece is powered by the new master complication movement and features a unique combination of a chronograph, minute repeater, perpetual calendar, moonphase, and day/night indicator— all displayed through three elegantly designed sandstone subdials against a Denchu base. Priced at $2,190, it truly encapsulates the art of watchmaking.

Alongside this, Accutron has also introduced the Resonator movement, which is powered by an innovative three-prong tuning-fork-shaped crystal that vibrates at an impressive 262 kHz—eight times the frequency of traditional quartz movements. This technology is showcased in two striking models: the Accutron Elevation, a modern sport-luxury design starting at $1,550, and the Memphis 521, which pays homage to a classic design from the 1960s and starts at $1,650.

The Return of Classic Designs

The collection doesn't just introduce new designs; it also revives iconic models. The Alpha 314 features the famous shield-shaped case while the Spaceview 314 is a tribute to the original 1960 model, infused with modern enhancements. These models, which start at $5,990, preserve the signature hum that made Accutron famous while utilizing materials like Silicium and Elinvar for improved durability and efficiency. Each piece is meticulously hand-assembled to ensure that it meets the highest standards of craftsmanship.

This release aims not only to excite loyal customers but also to attract a new generation of watch lovers eager to embrace timepieces that marry tradition with cutting-edge technology.

A Legacy of Innovation

Since the launch of the world's first fully electronic watch in 1960, Accutron has been at the forefront of timekeeping innovation. The brand has consistently pushed the boundaries of engineering and design, and with the Fall/Winter 2026 collection, it underscores its ongoing commitment to developing proprietary movements. Each timepiece reflects not just technical proficiency but also a pursuit of precision and quality that defines what Accutron stands for. As the brand continues to innovate and inspire, it remains a key player in the world of horology for both collectors and everyday consumers alike.
