This exhibition comes at an exciting time for Matsumoto, as he has been active with his legendary rock group,
B'z, while also making waves with
TMG, which recently concluded a nationwide tour after 20 years. On
May 28, 2025, fans can look forward to the release of the
TMG LIVE 2024 -Still Dodging The Bullet- DVD and Blu-ray, showcasing the unforgettable performances of this reunion tour. The ensemble featured prominent musicians like
Jack Blades (Night Ranger) and
Eric Martin (MR.BIG), as well as drummer

Matsumoto's Journey
Starting his guitar journey in high school, Tak Matsumoto quickly made a name for himself, winning music contests and performing in various venues. His first professional gig as a session guitarist led to a prolific career, culminating in the formation of the band
B'z in 1988. His signature tone and melodic compositions have captivated audiences worldwide, leading to accolades including his recognition as Gibson's first Japanese
Les Paul Signature Artist.
In 2004, he established the record label
House of Strings, which focuses on string players. His collaborative album with jazz legend
Larry Carlton, titled
TAKE YOUR PICK, received a Grammy Award for
