DXC Launches Intelligent Assure Apps to Transform Insurers with AI Solutions

In today's fast-evolving insurance landscape, companies face increasing pressure to adapt to rising customer expectations, navigate complex regulations, and manage fierce competition. Many insurers are still encumbered by outdated legacy systems and siloed data, which makes transformation a daunting task often requiring extensive, multi-year projects to yield results. Recognizing these challenges, DXC Technology, a leader in enterprise technology and innovation, has introduced its new Intelligent Assure applications to help insurers embark on a transformative journey with unprecedented agility.

Launched on March 2026 at the DXC Connect Insurance Executive Forum, the Assure applications leverage AI-driven workflows to provide insurers with out-of-the-box solutions tailored for rapid deployment. The applications include Claims Assistant, Engagement Assistant, and Underwriter Assistant, each designed to drive significant operational enhancements while minimizing disruption to existing systems.

The Claims Assistant streamlines the end-to-end claims process by integrating compliance and audit readiness, effectively reducing claims processing time by up to 35%. By eliminating system hand-offs and manual reconciliations, this application accelerates payments to insured customers, ultimately enhancing their experience.

Conversely, the Engagement Assistant transforms customer interactions across voice, digital, and back-office channels by orchestrating the collaboration between human agents and AI-powered bots. This application automates service delivery and improves the productivity of agents, achieving a customer experience boost ranging from 5% to 15% based on real-time sentiment analysis and compliance insights.

Additionally, the Underwriter Assistant creates a personalized underwriting experience by automating submission intake and prioritizing tasks in a manner that guides decision-making through an understandable workflow. This integration ensures that critical underwriting processes do not interfere with existing insurance systems, leading to greater efficiency gains.

In fostering innovation, DXC has also introduced the Assure Smart App Studio, a collaborative environment where clients can propose future intelligent application concepts. During the launch event, DXC engineers showcased their ability to quickly prototype new AI agents, demonstrating how swiftly organizations can bring fresh ideas to life through AI-driven innovation. This rapid prototyping capability is in line with DXC's mission to meet clients where they are and create pathways for incremental transformation without overwhelming their existing infrastructure.

Ray August, President of DXC Insurance Software and Business Process Services, emphasized, "Our inspiration for the Assure applications came from our desire to meet clients on their own terms, fostering evolution in their technology infrastructure while producing tangible business results."

With over 40 years of expertise in the insurance sector, DXC has positioned itself as a trusted partner for 21 of the top 25 global insurers. As a leading provider of core insurance systems, DXC is driving AI-powered innovations that enhance speed to market, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
