In a significant move for the welfare sector, the Foryu Association, a social welfare corporation based in Setagaya, Tokyo, announced the opening of a new educational institution, the Care Happi School, in 2025. What is Care Happi School?



Launched by Hiroichi Narita, Director of Foryu Association's Special Nursing Home Department, Care Happi School is an in-house education hub for welfare workers, including care staff, allowing them to continue their studies while managing their work responsibilities. Primarily aimed at employees in special nursing homes, the school establishes a space for ongoing education distributed between theoretical knowledge and practical experience.
