The Tokyo Toy Museum is thrilled to announce the upcoming Smile Day, a special event dedicated to children with serious illnesses and their families. A significant part of a child's growth and development includes play, which can help distract from the pain and stress that illnesses often bring. This event aims to create joyful experiences that contribute to a more fulfilling daily life for these children.

Organized by the accredited nonprofit organization, the Art and Play Creative Association, the Smile Day has been running since 2016. Every year, the museum opens its doors exclusively to families that care for sick children, providing them a safe, private space to play and enjoy the museum without the usual crowd.
