Apricus Generation Strengthens Its Leadership Team

Apricus Generation, a dynamic holding company dedicated to establishing a national platform for distributed solar and battery development, recently announced the onboarding of two distinguished leaders in renewable energy finance. The appointments of Nat Eng as Chief Financial Officer and Steve Varady as Senior Vice President of Project Finance mark a significant step forward for the company. These veteran leaders bring extensive experience in clean energy project structuring and financial management, essential for advancing Apricus Generation's mission and scaling its operations nationwide.

The addition of these two executives comes at a pivotal time for Apricus Generation as it aims to enhance its capabilities in developing solar and battery storage projects. With decades of combined experience in the industry, including expertise in financial modeling and tax equity structuring, Eng and Varady are expected to inject fresh insight and strategic direction into the company's initiatives.

Gautam Chandra, the Executive Chair and co-founder of Apricus Generation, expressed enthusiasm about the new leadership's potential to bolster the company’s operations. Nat Eng, taking on the CFO role, boasts over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting, particularly in renewable energy. Prior to joining Apricus, he was a partner at Novogradac & Company LLP, where he worked closely with leading developers and investors on complex financing transactions and tax equity structuring. He commenced his career at PwC after earning his degree from Penn State University.

Steve Varady, serving as Senior Vice President of Project Finance, has a strong background in renewable energy transaction structuring. With 16 years of experience, he excelled in advising clients on capital strategy and financial modeling at his previous roles, including as Senior Vice President at Energetic Capital and as a Principal at Novogradac & Company LLP. Steve holds degrees in finance and accounting from California State University, Chico.
