The renowned jewelry brand Bororo is set to host a captivating exhibition titled "Dragon Palace" from August 15 to September 15, 2026. This remarkable event will be held both at the Aoyama store and online, inviting fans of fine jewelry to explore the artistic blend of natural stones sourced from Japan.

The Essence of the Dragon Palace


The exhibition draws inspiration from the mythological Dragon Palace, rumored to be visited by the legendary hero Urashima Taro. It is believed that this fairy tale realm was adorned with vibrant corals, lustrous pearls, and intricate creations formed over eons by nature itself. Each piece at this exhibition echoes the memories of the sea where the Dragon Palace was said to dwell.

Various gemstones from different regions of Japan are presented, including:

  • - Niigata Prefecture Minerals
  • - Yamanashi Prefecture Quartz
  • - Miyazaki Prefecture Smoky Quartz

Among the highlights are five new rock rings crafted from minerals found in Itoigawa City, Niigata Prefecture. Each piece is a testament to the meticulous artistry of Japanese craftsmanship, incorporating local stones that provide unique colors and durability using a combination of natural elements.

- Known for its mesmerizing shades, Itoigawa jadeite features a milky-white base with hints of pale blue-green, reminiscent of gazing up from underwater toward the sunlit surface.

2. Onfocyte - Ring Sizes 15 and 13, Price: ¥176,000 each (tax included)
- Utilizing high-pressure conditions, onfocyte intertwines with green jade to create organic patterns that evoke the intricate shapes found in nature.

3. Pyroxene - Price: Starts at ¥176,000 (sizes vary)
- Representing a group of minerals sharing a common crystal structure, pyroxene comes in various forms. One delicate variant in these rings displays a gentle blend of white and green, suggesting the serene swaying of underwater plants.

4. Albite (Sodium Feldspar) - Ring Sizes 15 and 9, Price: ¥143,000 each (tax included)
- This mineral signifies the essence of rock formation, showcasing a blend of pale blue-green hues, resembling a peaceful oceanic scene.

To celebrate this event, Bororo has partnered with Bole COFFEE & ICECREAM to create exclusive sweets modeled after the Dragon Palace's treasure chest.
