The American College of Cardiology (ACC) is set to organize a community health fair in New Orleans this coming March 21, 2026. This important event aims to foster cardiovascular wellness, encourage early detection, and ensure equitable healthcare within the community, coinciding with the ACC's Annual Scientific Session.

Community Collaboration

This health fair represents a collaborative effort involving the ACC’s Health Equity Activities Work Group, the ACC Louisiana Chapter, local community partners, and educational institutions. Participants will have the chance to benefit from health education sessions, free screenings including blood pressure checks, heart health blood tests, and healthy snacks. Raffles will also be held to encourage attendance.

The upcoming health fair will act as a precursor to the ACC's Annual Scientific Session, taking place from March 28 to 30, 2026, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.
