World Supply and Nabla Works Innovate Entry and Exit Management
In a significant collaboration aimed at enhancing the security and management of commercial facilities,
World Supply, a subsidiary of the SG Holdings Group, and
Nabla Works, which specializes in AI-based image recognition and video generation, have formalized a partnership. This agreement, effective from July 1, 2024, focuses specifically on the implementation of a facial recognition system to improve visitor management while maintaining a secure environment.
Purpose of the Cooperation
World Supply operates various services under its Facility Logistics Support (FLS) initiative across over 120 commercial locations nationwide. This partnership pivots on improving the entrance and exit procedures, thereby reducing burdens on both the visitors and reception personnel while enhancing security protocols. By leveraging Nabla Works’ cutting-edge AI technology, the collaboration aims to bring forth a sophisticated system that fortifies the overall operation of World Supply's services.
Services for In-House Logistics
Within the FLS framework, World Supply offers a streamlined logistics service that collects deliveries from different transport companies and distributes them directly to the designated retail spaces within large and multiplex commercial centers. This service significantly enhances the overall delivery process by eliminating the need for delivery trucks to wait at entry points, thus facilitating a seamless delivery experience. Additionally, this approach reduces the congestion caused by multiple transport vehicles within the premises, directly contributing to improved safety and security measures. The benefits extend further with the reduction in labor hours for truck drivers, less traffic congestion around the vicinity, and a decrease in CO₂ emissions due to minimized waiting times for delivery trucks.
Future Developments
The partnership is set to utilize the resources of the SG Holdings Group alongside innovative ideas and technologies from external partners through an open innovation program known as
HIKYAKU LABO 2024. This collaboration is intended to propel the joint venture forward, with plans for pilot testing at various locations where World Supply manages logistics operations.
