A one-of-a-kind exhibition featuring the works of esteemed manga artist Yuji Ohashi is set to take place at the "Hobonichihibi" space in Shibuya PARCO, beginning May 23, 2026, and concluding on June 21, 2026. Known as a "lonely genius manga artist," Ohashi's artwork encompasses a rich range of styles, including his masterpieces "Music," "Zokki," and "City Lights."

The exhibition will showcase over 100 original pieces, giving fans an immersive experience into Ohashi’s creative process. Notably, visitors will have the opportunity to dive into the world of his work through "Music," where they can explore a multitude of original art pieces, allowing for an experience akin to reading an entire manga through its visuals.

Special Printing Workshop

An exciting feature of the exhibition is the "One Panel Easy Print Workshop," where attendees can use a press machine to print their favorite manga panels onto T-shirts or tote bags. This interactive element allows fans to choose from approximately 90 selected panels from Ohashi’s works, resulting in a unique and personal creation that they can take home. This segment aims to deepen the appreciation of Ohashi's creativity and artistry, allowing participants to connect on a more personal level with the artwork.

Moreover, for those wishing to craft a truly unique item, there will be options to order custom T-shirts featuring their selected panels, complete with Ohashi's signature. This limited opportunity elevates the experience, making each ordered item one-of-a-kind and a cherished memento from the exhibition.

A Glimpse into Ohashi's Journey

Yuji Ohashi was born in 1980 in Aichi Prefecture. His journey in manga began at the age of 25 with self-published works, eventually leading to commercial success in 2007 with music magazines. Both "Music" and "Zokki" have seen adaptions into animation and film, reintroducing the stories to a wider audience and reigniting interest in his original works. The exhibition seeks to honor and celebrate this impressive body of work by sharing his original illustrations, alongside essential aspects of his creative journey.
