Story Introduction

The story centers around high school student Niro Agatsuma, who has been raised by his grandfather to become a descendant of ninjas and possesses the unique ability to converse with animals. One fateful encounter leads him to a wounded black cat, Rahou, who is revealed to be a legendary phantom once known as the 'Black Star of Doom'!

As shadowy figures of other phantoms plot to seize Rahou’s immense power, a secret organization tasked with monitoring these supernatural beings, known as the Kōgi Onmitsukyoku, intervenes. As interests collide, Niro and Rahou must determine their own resolve amid these brewing conflicts.
