Elegoo Completes First Phase of 'ELEGOO With Her' to Empower Women Creators Globally
In a significant development for women in the creative industries, Elegoo has recently wrapped up the first phase of its initiative 'ELEGOO With Her', encouraging women creators in various fields including home decor, fashion, cosplay, and education. The announcement took place on August 1, 2025, and marks a momentous step in supporting female talent worldwide, particularly in the realm of 3D printing.
The 'ELEGOO With Her' program, launched during the Formnext 2024 event, aimed to provide a platform for emerging women designers and makers by offering hands-on workshops and mentorships. Out of more than 110 applicants from 17 countries, 30 women were selected to participate in this enriching experience. Notably, over 70% of these participants were newcomers to 3D printing, highlighting the initiative's role in democratizing access to advanced manufacturing technologies.
A few noteworthy projects emerged from this phase, such as STEM education kits designed to empower girls in Africa and beautifully crafted 3D-printed lamps inspired by early 20th-century aesthetics. Each of these creations served to demonstrate the vast potential and creativity inherent in 3D printing, especially in sectors traditionally dominated by men.
Janet Zagah, a renewable energy entrepreneur who took part in the program, expressed her excitement: "I remember how excited I was when I printed my first benchy. I also remember the failures. The hands-on workshops, mentorship, and community gave me more than just skills. They gave me the confidence to build and to lead."
Another participant, mobile developer Kinnera Putti, remarked on the program's significance, saying, "Having an inclusive program run by a company as big as Elegoo is powerful. I hope others see what we've made and feel inspired to try something too." This sentiment aligns perfectly with Elegoo's vision to harness the collective power of women creators leveraging 3D printing technology to enhance their lives and communities.
Coco Lee, the Brand Director of Elegoo, emphasized the importance of accessibility in the field of 3D printing, stating, "We've always believed 3D printing should be accessible to everyone, and these projects show just how powerful it can be when women challenge themselves and use the technology to create and improve lives beyond their own." With this initiative, Elegoo has not only equipped participants with necessary skills and knowledge but also provided a community that inspires confidence and ambition among women in the tech field.
As this chapter concludes, the journey of 'ELEGOO With Her' continues. All workshops conducted during the program are now publicly available on YouTube, creating an extensive resource for budding creators. Furthermore, the next showcase is scheduled to take place at IFA Berlin this September, where participants' works will be exhibited, inspiring even more women to embark on their creative journeys.
Founded in 2015, Elegoo operates from Shenzhen, China, and has rapidly evolved as a key player in the global smart manufacturing industry, focusing on the R&D, manufacturing, and sales of consumer-grade 3D printers, laser engravers, and STEM kits. With millions of products sold across over 100 countries, Elegoo’s commitment to empowering women in technology is a testament to its core values of inclusivity and creativity.
