On November 30, 2025, a unique whiskey tasting seminar will be held at the dining bar "BAR FIVE Arrows" located just three minutes from Shinjuku Station. This event, featuring the launch of Ikawa Distillery's latest single malt whiskey, Flora 2025, is the second installment following the exciting first event, which sold out quickly.

Event Details
The seminar will kick off at 1:00 PM, with doors opening at 12:30 PM. Attendees can expect a hybrid format, allowing both in-person and online participants to join. Those attending in person will enjoy a selection of five whiskeys, which includes the highly anticipated Flora 2025 and the peated Fauna 2025, along with three rare, distillery-only bottlings. The distillery's master distiller, Mr. Seto, and other Ikawa Distillery staff will be on hand to offer in-depth explanations about the whiskeys.

For online participants, a tasting set, containing the featured whiskeys, will be shipped in advance so you can enjoy the experience from the comfort of your home.

Discover the Ikawa Distillery
Gaining fame as Japan's highest distillery, Ikawa Distillery is nestled in the breathtaking Shizuoka Prefecture, surrounded by the Southern Alps. Established in 2020 by Toyama Co., its altitude reaches around 1,200 meters, making it known as one of Japan's most challenging distilleries to access, often referred to as a hidden gem.

Due to its remote location within a national park, distillers immerse themselves in their craft, spending two-thirds of their month on-site, benefitting from the region's natural water and climate conditions. Ikawa Distillery uniquely harnesses local materials like Mizunara oak for barrel aging, resulting in distinctive whiskeys rich in flavor.

Participants will not only be among the first to taste Flora 2025 but also have the chance to sample exclusive cask-strength whiskeys. Attendees will receive a refreshing welcome drink featuring Ikawa whiskey, plus enjoy the opportunity to talk with the distillers during a Q&A session.
