From September 17 to 23, 2025, the Daimaru Kyoto Store will transform into a vibrant hub for enthusiasts of Japanese culture and craftsmanship, with a special pop-up shop dedicated to the esteemed OMOTENASHI Selection. Each year, the OMOTENASHI Selection program seeks to identify and promote outstanding Japanese products and services, and this limited-time event showcases some of the finest examples.

What's Happening?

Located on the 4th floor in the event space Koyomi-goyomi, the pop-up shop will feature around 150 meticulously curated items from 11 different brands across Japan. These products range from fashion accessories perfect for the upcoming autumn season to unique lifestyle goods, emphasizing the essence of Japanese hospitality – omotenashi – through every meticulously crafted piece.
