Key Appointments

Anders Carp, currently appointed as Deputy CEO overseeing various corporate functions, is set to take the helm of the business area Dynamics. Marcus Wandt, who currently leads Group Strategy and Technology, will become the new head of Saab’s Aeronautics division. Wandt’s unique background, including experiences as a fighter pilot and chief test pilot, combined with his leadership roles in innovation and strategy, positions him as a valuable asset for the challenges ahead. He will maintain his presence in the Group Management team.

Lars Tossman, presently head of Aeronautics, will be stepping into a new position focused on Group Strategy and Growth, remaining integral to the Group Management. With extensive industry experience, Lars will steer the business development and strategy functions, further driving Saab’s ongoing growth trajectory.

Finally, Mikael Adelsberg, Saab’s Chief Digital Officer, will expand his responsibilities to include oversight of the company’s IT operations starting from October 1, 2026.
