Reser's Invites Collegiate Vocal Groups to Create Fun Jingle for 75th Anniversary Celebration

Reser's Fine Foods Launches Jingle Competition

In an exciting celebration of its 75 years in business, Reser's Fine Foods, a well-known name in refrigerated deli salads and prepared foods, has announced a national competition aimed at collegiate vocal groups. The goal? To craft the brand's very first 'Good Times' jingle. This initiative not only marks a significant milestone for the family-owned company, but it also seeks to engage the creative energies of college students across the country.

A Celebration of Arts and Community

Reser's has pledged a total prize pool of $75,000 to encourage participation in this competition. This generous offering aims to support the arts while enabling winning college vocal groups to showcase their talents. As CEO Mark Reser noted, "Reser's is synonymous with good food, good people and good times. […] We hope that fans, both old and new, will enjoy contributing to this fun piece of our history."

The competition will culminate in the selection of a grand prize winner who will receive $25,000 for their music program, alongside an exclusive opportunity to perform the jingle live at the Patricia Reser Center for the Arts in Beaverton, Oregon. In addition, runners-up will be recognized with cash prizes of $15,000, $10,000, and $5,000.

Notable Judges and Timeline

Prominent figures, including Patricia Reser, a distinguished philanthropist and arts advocate, will serve as judges for the jingle competition. Patricia expressed her enthusiasm for the event, emphasizing the importance of arts in society and the chance to witness student creativity come to life.

"This competition is a celebratory, musical tribute to all the Good Times we've shared over the last 75 years and the people who have helped build this extraordinary company into what it is today," she stated.

Registration for the chance to participate opens as of February 19 and will remain open until April 11. Interested collegiate vocal groups are encouraged to submit videos of their original acapella songs via Reser’s dedicated competition website.

A Legacy of Deliciousness

Reser’s Fine Foods was born from humble beginnings in 1950 when Grandma Mildred Reser whipped up her famous potato salad recipe in her farmhouse kitchen. Over the decades, the company has grown significantly, now employing over 5,000 individuals across 14 facilities in North America. Despite this growth, the Reser family continues to guide the company based on the same fundamental values of quality and innovation that have driven their success for three generations.

Individuals and groups interested in participating can find more information on the competition or about Reser’s extensive product line by visiting their official website or following them on social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
