CORNEX Introduces Revolutionary 588Ah Energy Storage Battery Cell
In an exciting development for the renewable energy sector, CORNEX, a pioneering company in new energy technology, has officially launched its state-of-the-art 588Ah large-capacity energy storage battery cell. The event, held recently in Xiaogan, China, was marked by the presence of the company’s leadership team, industry partners, and media representatives. The unveiling was conducted by Executive Vice President Bu Xiangnan, who emphasized the game-changing potential of this technology in supporting grid-scale energy solutions.
The 588Ah battery cell is designed with remarkable energy density, featuring a mass energy density of 190Wh/kg and a volume energy density of 419Wh/L. Additionally, CORNEX boasts an impressive energy efficiency rate of 96.5%, providing a competitive edge in the energy storage market. This innovative cell is not only powerful but also operates with enhanced safety features, crucial for large-scale energy deployment.
Building on this innovation, CORNEX has introduced its 588-CTP2.0 energy storage PACK solution. This new design optimizes the quantity and variety of materials used in battery production, achieving a 20% reduction in resources. At the pack level, the solution reaches a mass energy density of 170Wh/kg and a volume energy density of 285Wh/L. Moreover, its advanced design includes a 1000°C heat-resistant isolation layer, ensuring that thermal runaway risks are effectively mitigated from the cell throughout the entire system.
