At the KEY 2026 event held in Rimini, Italy, BLUETTI, a prominent player in the clean energy sector, introduced its latest innovation: the CI Energy Storage System ES125. This advanced system is designed specifically for commercial and industrial applications and aims to provide scalable and intelligent energy storage solutions that facilitate energy independence.

ES125: Key Features


The ES125 is an integrated energy storage system, optimized under the concept of "One Cabinet = One System." Featuring a substantial capacity of 125 kW/257 kWh, the system employs liquid cooling technology, comprising a battery, Power Conversion System (PCS), Battery Management System (BMS), and Energy Management System (EMS) all within a single cabinet. This design allows for straightforward plug-and-play installation, reducing implementation complexity for engineers and expediting operational ramp-up.

The ES125 is built with high-performance LiFePO₄ batteries and utilizes precision liquid cooling to maintain optimal temperatures within the cells, thereby extending the longevity of the system. The battery pack is housed in an IP67-rated enclosure, ensuring protection against dust and moisture. Moreover, an AI-powered EMS and BMS continuously monitor crucial parameters such as voltage, temperature, and state of charge, providing early failure detection and enhanced operational efficiency.

For added safety, the system includes an automatic aerosol fire suppression system, designed to detect and respond to anomalies in the battery's performance promptly.

Applications and Flexibility


The ES125 offers versatile operation modes, including grid-connected, off-grid, and hybrid configurations, ensuring seamless transitions to critical loads when necessary. Its main commercial applications include:
  • - Peak Demand Reduction: This system can decrease electricity bills by optimizing demand loads, achieving reductions of 20% to 50%.
  • - Capacity Expansion: It facilitates high-demand equipment operation without necessitating expensive transformer upgrades.
  • - Backup Power: It ensures business continuity during power outages or grid instability.
  • - Diesel Replacement: It mitigates fuel costs, emissions, and noise pollution associated with diesel generators.
  • - Preparation for Virtual Power Plants (VPP): It streamlines participation in network services and energy market programs.
