Discover the Elegance of Kyoto with Wargo's Special Kanzashi Collection

Unveiling the Special Kanzashi Collection from Wargo

Wargo, a prominent name in the realm of Japanese traditional handicrafts, is set to launch an exclusive collection of kanzashi, a traditional hair ornament, starting April 24. This launch aligns with their vision to spread Japanese culture globally. The new addition, the "Kino Tobi Kitsune Ippon Kanzashi," will be available at specific Wargo locations in Kyoto, making it a remarkable treasure unique to the city.

These kanzashi feature an intricate design, combining the enchanting fox motif reminiscent of Fushimi Inari, a symbol of Kyoto's heritage, with the auspicious traditional "Agemaki" knot. The kanzashi embodies a sense of good fortune, representing a fox gazing upward, symbolizing optimism and progress.

This collection introduces three distinct colors, each found exclusively at different stores within Kyoto. The vibrant "Gold" color reflects the lively atmosphere of Nishiki Market, while the retro-modern "Wakapurples" draws inspiration from the historic Shinkyogoku district. Lastly, a serene "Karacha" shade captures the tranquil ambiance of Ninenzaka, showcasing the diversity and rich culture of Kyoto.

When exploring the ancient streets of Kyoto, the foxes adorned in these kanzashi serve as delightful mementos, perfect for creating unforgettable memories. Each customer is invited to find their unique hue amidst the historical landscape, ensuring a piece of Kyoto's charm is taken home.
