Midea Unveils Its Professional Services Ecosystem for a Sustainable Future

Midea's Commitment to Sustainability at MCE 2026

At the recent MCE 2026 event held in Milan, Midea presented a bold new initiative under the banner of "Green Vision and Blue Future." The company utilized this platform to showcase its latest sustainable solutions in heating and cooling, highlighting a significant transformation in its ecosystem of professional services. Midea emphasized that it is not just about excellent products; it's about enhancing its service offerings through the Midea HVAC Professional Service System. This comprehensive framework supports the entire lifecycle of its products, ensuring maximum efficiency and sustainability.

During the event, several high-ranking executives were present, including Alex Zhu (GM of Midea Residential Air Conditioning), Dennis Lee (GM of Midea Building Technologies), Meteor Liu (GM of Midea Kitchen Water Heater Appliances), and Alberto Di Luzio (GM of Midea Italia). They emphasized the three pillars of their service ecosystem, showcasing how Midea is set to change the HVAC landscape.

Key Components of Midea's Ecosystem

1. Midea Club: This global motivational program for installations has already been established in 21 countries, engaging over 210,000 registered members. With more than 400 million installations completed, contractors can earn rewards, participate in free training sessions, and leverage AI-driven tools that lead to new business opportunities through intelligent follow-up services.

2. Midea Solutions Hub: Collaborating with local partners, Midea has set up stores that function as professional shared spaces for displaying and customizing products. These hubs also serve as pick-up points for installation companies, optimizing their daily operations.

3. Blue Service & Midea Academy: A backbone of Midea's technical support, the company operates over 170 assistance centers in Italy alone, which includes eight specialized Blue Service centers. These centers act as micro logistics hubs for original spare parts, ensuring rapid and high-quality service. The training provided boosts brand presence and customer trust.

Panel Discussion and Industry Transition

A standout feature of the event was a panel discussion held in collaboration with Assoclima, the Italian association for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. The conversation focused on the role of installers as a driving force in the energy transition, discussing the shift from a product-centered model to an integrated "product + service" approach. Topics such as installation standardization and enhancing the expertise of professional installers were also covered to build greater customer trust.

Flagship Products

Midea also unveiled a range of flagship products and regional innovations:
  • - Residential Air Conditioning (RAC): Highlighting recent successes with R290 split air conditioners launched in Malta, this serves as a model for wider European success. The new H-Pack internal heat pump, which won the MCE Excellence Award for its installation-friendly design, was also introduced, alongside the PortaSplit series, which saw the unveiling of the PortaSplit Cool and was recognized by TIME magazine as one of the "Best Inventions of 2025."
  • - Energy-Efficient Solutions: The "Solstice" solution, powered by AI, boasts energy savings of over 30%. MHELIOS, a solution for energy management and storage, optimizes energy pricing for homes.
