Nitto Towel's Spring Festival 2025: A Focus on Disaster Preparedness
On April 29, 2025, Nitto Towel Co., Ltd. will host the "Nitto Towel Spring Festival 2025 - Disaster Preparedness x Towel Day" at their main store located in Nihonbashi, Tokyo. This event is particularly significant as it marks the 80th anniversary of the Tokyo air raid on March 9, 1945. The event serves as a platform to reflect on disaster preparedness, emphasizing the importance of towels in emergency situations.
Founded in 1947, Nitto Towel has grown into a comprehensive towel company, actively engaging in towel production and planning. Recently, the company has shown a commitment to revitalizing the Nihonbashi area, contributing to community initiatives.
In light of recent global instability and a series of natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, and fires, it’s vital to reconsider our approaches to disaster preparedness. April 29 is also recognized as “Towel Day” in Japan, a day dedicated to celebrating the utility of towels, making this event even more relevant for the community.
