On May 29 and 30, 2026, the highly anticipated "Music Icons" auction by Julien's Auctions will take place live from the Hard Rock Cafe in New York. This event promises to feature more than 650 rare and treasured rock'n'roll artifacts, appealing to collectors and fans alike. The collection includes legendary items from rock's most iconic musicians, making it a must-attend event for any music enthusiast.

Ace Frehley of KISS will be presenting his infamous 1975 Gibson Les Paul guitar, valued at an estimated $400,000 to $600,000. This guitar, known as the Ace #1, has been relied upon throughout his career and is considered one of the most significant guitars in rock history. Other notable instruments up for bid include a 1969 Guild F-412 guitar once owned by Stevie Ray Vaughan, expected to sell for $300,000 to $500,000, and Johnny Cash's 1954 Martin Acoustic guitar, which he played during his Grand Ole Opry debut, with an estimated value of $100,000 to $200,000.

The auction will also feature valuable pieces by other rock legends, including Kirk Hammett of Metallica, who is offering his first signed Custom Ouija guitar, with a price estimate of $250,000 to $350,000, and Eddie Van Halen's signed Charvel Art Series guitar from his last performance with Sammy Hagar, valued at $50,000 to $70,000.
