Abacus Group Strengthens Leadership with Key Appointments
Abacus Group, a leader in managed IT and cybersecurity services for the financial sector, has made a significant announcement that could reshape its global people strategy. Elizabeth Kubycheck has been appointed as the new Chief People Officer (CPO) and Chief of Staff (CoS), bringing with her over 20 years of extensive experience in leadership and executive program management. This strategic hire is set to enhance Abacus Group’s initiatives as the company aims to scale its operations globally.
With her dual role, Kubycheck will oversee all aspects of the company's human resource programs, functions, and systems. This includes critical areas such as human resources (HR), employee benefits, recruiting, and talent management. Additionally, in her capacity as Chief of Staff, she will coordinate strategic business initiatives across the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), ensuring these efforts align with Abacus Group's long-term business objectives and overall value creation.
In her new position, Elizabeth's primary responsibilities will involve leading essential initiatives like annual strategic planning, employee career path development, company-wide communication enhancements, and improving global HR processes and key performance indicators (KPIs). A significant focus will rest on maintaining high employee retention rates and expanding the organization’s footprint in international markets in collaboration with the ELT.
Kubycheck joins Abacus Group from ATSG, where she was successfully serving as Executive Vice President and Chief People and Brand Officer. Her impressive background also includes senior roles at Bell Techlogix, CIBER, and DTAG T-Systems. Our culture is the heartbeat of our global operations, and I look forward to driving initiatives that empower people and make Abacus Group the very best place to succeed in our industry.” She emphasized the importance of maximizing global workforce practices to attract and retain top talent in a highly competitive field.
