To mark a significant milestone, the Kimagure Orange Road Pilot Anime 40th Anniversary Exhibition will be held at Yurakucho Marui in Tokyo from May 23 to June 7, 2026. Officially organized by VISION8 (EDITION88 Art Gallery), the exhibition invites both long-time fans and newcomers to experience the nostalgic world of this iconic series.

A Showcase of History

The exhibition will feature an in-depth presentation of the original pilot anime created for the Jump Special Anime Daikoushin event in 1985, alongside color illustrations and rough sketches from Akemi Takada, the character designer for the anime. Attendees can also look forward to exclusive new illustrations that will have their debut at this exhibition.

Special Merchandise

In addition to the original sketches and over 60 pieces of artwork dating back to the creation of the series, the exhibition introduces two brand-new illustrations that capture the essence of "Kimagure Orange Road".
