Transition in Advanced Manufacturing

CIIF 2026 highlighted a crucial shift in advanced manufacturing, showcasing a transition from isolated digital solutions to a comprehensive system synergy involving "chips, software, machinery, and production lines." This evolving ecosystem, driven by physical AI and integrated computing power, signifies a leap towards smart factories where multi-element integration becomes the norm.

The emphasis on practical, production-line-ready technologies attracted multinational enterprises and international trade visitors to view Shanghai—and the entire Yangtze River Delta—as pivotal locations for innovation and real-world applications in next-generation manufacturing paradigms.

CIIF 2026 and its showcased technologies reflect China’s dedication to moving from process alignment toward establishing systemic architectures. The fair has now become a benchmark for the evolution of global advanced manufacturing, demonstrating that industry standards are moving toward full-chain synergy.

A Legacy of Excellence

Since its inception in 1999, CIIF has evolved into China's longest-running national-level industrial exhibition. Featuring ten professional theme shows tied to smart and green manufacturing, CIIF integrates a plethora of activities, including exhibitions, trade opportunities, awards, and forums.

As CIIF enters its next chapters, it continues to be an essential platform for global industrial cooperation, connecting businesses to the opportunities of a smart economy in the 21st century. For further information, interested parties can visit the official website at CIIF Expo.
