Support for Families: The 'Kosodate 2-in-1' Initiative by JKK Tokyo
As urban living becomes more challenging for families due to rising costs and space constraints, JKK Tokyo (Tokyo Residential Supply Corporation) has launched a progressive solution named 'Kosodate 2-in-1'. This innovative program is set to open its doors to applications from January 21 to January 27, 2024, and targets families with children under 18 years old, including expecting parents.
Overview of 'Kosodate 2-in-1'
The 'Kosodate 2-in-1' system allows families to rent two connected units within the multi-story building of Machida Kiso Housing, located in Machida City. This arrangement consists of a combination of units on the fourth and fifth floors, ensuring a tranquil living environment with reduced noise disruption for families raising children.
In addition to providing a spacious living space, JKK Tokyo is also taking into consideration the noise impact on residents living below by giving away joint mats covering approximately three tatami mats. Further, as an initiative to mitigate monthly rental costs, the second unit is offered at a 20% discount for the duration of the lease, ensuring families can comfortably support their living arrangement without heightened financial stress.
Target Families
The eligibility for the 'Kosodate 2-in-1' program includes those families with at least one child under the age of 18 as of the application deadline, January 27, 2024.
