Dr. Matsumoto, who studied psychiatry at Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine, has a wealth of expertise, evidenced by over 40 publications in leading international medical journals, including The American Journal of Psychiatry. After serving as the director of a psychiatric hospital in Nara Prefecture, he founded MySherpa in 2016. Currently a visiting professor at Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine, he oversees operations at three mental health clinics, providing care to around 4,000 patients monthly while actively seeing patients himself.
