XCMG Machinery, a leading player in the construction machinery sector, has made headlines by securing contracts surpassing CNY 10 billion at the premier bauma China 2024 event. This achievement emphasizes XCMG's unwavering dedication to sustainable development and intelligent industrial solutions.
Key Highlights from the Contracts
Among the most notable contracts is a historic CNY 3 billion agreement with the Fortescue Group, a major iron ore producer based in Western Australia. This agreement entails the delivery of over 100 zero-emission heavy mobile units by 2030. The lineup includes electric wheel loaders, bulldozers, and graders, aligning with Fortescue's ambitious goal of achieving zero emissions within their operations by the same year. The initial phase of this groundbreaking equipment is expected to commence service by 2026, drastically reducing reliance on fossil fuels over its lifespan.
Moreover, XCMG has partnered with Tsingshan Holding Group to set up a new energy equipment manufacturing facility in Indonesia. This plant, marking XCMG's first significant venture in Southeast Asia, specializes in new energy equipment, further broadening the company’s operational footprint.
In addition, XCMG confirmed the bulk delivery of a diverse selection of cranes and other equipment to China, with individual contracts valuing over CNY 200 million.
