A Breakthrough in Reproductive Health: My Age F
On September 9, 2025, TL Genomics, based in Fujisawa, Kanagawa, will officially launch a revolutionary test called "My Age F." This innovative product aims to assess women’s pregnancy potential numerically, offering those struggling with infertility a new perspective in planning their families. Alongside the launch, a press conference will be held in Tokyo to share insights about this groundbreaking technology.
Understanding the Context of Infertility
According to the National Institute of Population and Social Security Research, one in four couples has experienced infertility testing or treatment, with two in five couples concerned they may have fertility issues. The trend of later marriages has intensified anxiety among women regarding their ability to conceive. Consequently, there’s a pressing demand for timely and effective treatment options. Traditional AMH testing, while measuring the number of eggs, falls short in evaluating actual pregnancy potential. The reality is complex; some women may have many eggs but still struggle to conceive, while others may have fewer eggs and successfully become pregnant.
Collaborative Development with Leading Institutions
The concept for My Age F originated from the personal experiences of TL Genomics representative, Tomohiro Kubo, whose wife faced a high-risk pregnancy. To address this, TL Genomics partnered with the National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center to develop a new technology called SinChro™, which measures chromosomal aging. Furthermore, a study conducted with Osaka Metropolitan University confirmed the test's correlation with natural conception success among 500 female participants.
My Age F allows women to assess their overall aging and pregnancy potential from the comfort of their homes through a simple blood sample. This empowerment helps them gauge their current fertility and facilitates strategic planning for family growth alongside their careers. The product aims to provide women with the tools they need to take control of their reproductive futures.
