Tenchijin's Milestone: A Selection in Tokyo's Startup Innovations

In collaboration with the Toyoda City Waterworks Bureau, the company validated the efficacy of utilizing satellite data for leak detection in its pilot project under the Cabinet Office’s initiative for utilizing advanced satellite remote sensing data.

Since launching its services in April 2023, the company has expanded its client base to over 50 municipal contracts within just two years, marking a significant success in the field. Additionally, the 'KnoWaterleak' solution has received high praise, earning its place in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism’s 'DX Technology Catalog for Water and Sewage'.

Despite these achievements, the aging water infrastructure remains a pressing global issue, affecting many regions worldwide—not just Japan. In response, Tenchijin is actively advancing its initiatives in various locations, including ASEAN nations, India, and Europe. By forming partnerships with local academic institutions and water service providers, Tenchijin is committed to expanding its global business footprint.
