The Smile Game: A Fun Learning Experience


The "Smile Game" is designed for students from the 3rd grade of elementary school to middle school. In this engaging simulation, kids will form teams, select a president, hire employees, develop products, manage procurement and sales, and ultimately strive to generate profit. This hands-on experience not only entertains but also educates children on how the economy works, fostering strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and decision-making abilities. Additionally, it is notable that the game is a recipient of the 2024 Kids Design Award, further attesting to its educational value.

About Kenichiro Kido


Kenichiro Kido, the CEO of Kodomo Support Inc., began his professional journey by studying telecommunications engineering at the National Institute of Telecommunications. His realization that education is the foundation of national power led him to join an educational enterprise dedicated to lifelong learning. With over 15 years of experience, he has provided talent education based on child brain science to more than 100,000 children and their parents throughout the Kanto region.

After years of working in various sectors including IT ventures and manufacturing while mentoring youth baseball teams in his private life, Kido discovered his true mission through meaningful interactions with children. At 52, he left corporate life to start his own business, successfully establishing four childcare facilities in Tachikawa and Kodaira within his first nine years.

Now, as his company marks its 10th anniversary, he has founded the Children’s Support Corporation. This initiative includes the establishment of community meal services and aims to strengthen the entrepreneurial skills of teenagers through the Smile Game. Kido is dedicated to passing on his business philosophy to develop future leaders who will contribute to Japan’s economy. This effort is not just a project; it serves as a legacy for the next generation.
