Starting on November 27, 2025, this service will utilize the 'Body Measurement Pod' showcased during the Expo at the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion. The initiative aims to weave healthcare seamlessly into everyday life and create a society focused on overall health enhancement.

A Shift Towards Health-Centric Society

The Osaka-Kansai Expo attracted over 5.53 million visitors, highlighting a strong public interest in personal health management through the experiences provided by the Body Measurement Pods. The excitement around this innovative experience implies a readiness for change in health services. The PHR Connect consortium is dedicated to utilizing this interest beyond a one-time event, aiming to establish a lasting health-focused infrastructure within the community.

Under the guidance of private sector leadership, PHR Connect has entered into a contract for the ongoing management of the initiative, ensuring that it becomes an integral part of daily life in Osaka and beyond.

Service Overview

The 'DotHealth Body Measurement Service' will consist of three main offerings:
1. DotHealth Body Measurement Service for Consumers
This service will be accessible at various stations operated by JR West, starting with prominent locations like Osaka Station, Shin-Osaka Station, Tennoji Station, and Kishibe Station. Visitors will have their health data assessed using advanced measurement technologies.

- Health Metrics Measured:
Users can expect to receive data on six key health aspects—Brain, Cardiovascular, Hair, Musculoskeletal, Skin, and Dental health—resulting in 48 different health indicators along with a calculated body measurement age.

- November-December 2025: Free
- January-March 2026: 1,200 JPY (excluding tax) for three months
- Future service offerings and pricing are currently under evaluation.

The user-friendly application will allow individuals to track their historical health data in a graph format, making health management more straightforward.

2. Research Measurement Service
This service is tailored for health-related businesses, allowing them to leverage diverse consumer insights and measurement data gathered through the DotHealth service. This collaborative effort includes partnerships with companies managing health data measurement. To ensure privacy, health data will only be used in a non-identifiable format with user consent.

3. Healthcare Salon Promotion
A new sponsorship zone will be established within the DotHealth Osaka healthcare salon at JR Osaka Station. This area will feature digital signage promoting various health-focused products and services from different businesses, creating a dynamic marketing platform.
