Cox Interior Welcomes Kendra Cichanski as New Head of Sales

Kendra Cichanski Takes the Helm at Cox Interior

Cox Interior, a leader in custom millwork and interior solutions, has announced that Kendra Cichanski is stepping into the role of Head of Sales. With nearly 50 sales representatives across 10 U.S. territories, Cichanski will be responsible for steering the company's sales strategy, fostering revenue growth, and spearheading market expansion initiatives.

Cichanski brings an impressive track record to this position, with almost two decades of senior sales leadership experience in sectors such as custom millwork, cabinetry, and multifamily housing. Prior to joining Cox Interior, she held the role of Senior Vice President of Sales at Regent Cabinet Solutions. Her previous experiences include a similar role at nobilia North America and leading the Multifamily Sales Division at Cabinetworks Group for nearly eight years, where she successfully built and managed high-performing sales teams nationwide.

Martin Reiter, owner of Cox Interior, expressed his confidence in Cichanski's capabilities, stating, “Kendra's depth of experience and her proven ability to cultivate dynamic sales teams make her the perfect choice to lead our next phase of revenue growth.” Her background in design complements her executive skills, an advantage that Cichanski believes will be beneficial in understanding client needs and enhancing the customer experience.

During her earlier career, Cichanski worked as an interior designer, which provided her with first-hand insights into client expectations and the unique environments they desire. This combination of industry knowledge and executive sales leadership lays a solid foundation for her new role at Cox Interior.

In her own words, Cichanski emphasizes the significance of this moment for the company: “Cox has a legacy of craftsmanship and a reputation built on quality - strengths that truly matter in today's market.” She sees this as an opportunity to strengthen the company's market strategy and improve how they engage with customers and partners alike.

She also pointed out the challenges faced by many competitors in the industry. “Many are struggling; few are providing comprehensive solutions that harmonize construction and design. The need for a partner who understands both design intent and installation realities is significant, especially as the industry increasingly focuses on value engineering and durability.”

Cox Interior has maintained its status as a forefront player in custom millwork since 1983, serving a variety of clients across residential, multifamily, and commercial markets throughout the United States. As the company gears up for further expansion and operational focus, Cichanski’s expertise in national sales management, forecasting, and strategic planning will undoubtedly be instrumental.

As she settles into her new role, Cox Interior anticipates that Cichanski’s leadership will play a crucial part in shaping the future of the company, nurturing partnerships, and delivering top-tier craftsmanship to their clientele. With a clear vision for the next stages of growth, the company is well-positioned to navigate the market successfully under her guidance.
